Komsic’s Congratulation: Let Optimism be our Guide and Solidarity our Weapon

Chairman of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić sent a New Year’s greeting to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina with wishes for well-being, happiness and success.

“We are nearing the end of a challenging period, a period marked on the world stage by events that we did not believe could be repeated. The ideology of fascism, divisions and wars, which resulted in a large number of innocent victims, make up the world’s everyday life. Unfortunately, everything indicates that the period ahead will not be easy either. Regardless of all the challenges that we in Bosnia and Herzegovina face, and the reflection of world events on the environment in which we live, I believe in our strength and togetherness, which has always lifted us out of difficult moments. United as one community, we can overcome all challenges and achieve our goals. We have proven that many times. Dear citizens, do not forget that it is the strength of unity that is above all obstacles. I encourage you to support each other, to foster mutual understanding and solidarity. Let optimism be our guide and solidarity our weapon. The successes we achieve as a community will make our country and every member of our society stronger.

Let’s be grateful for every moment. May the New Year be a time for new beginnings, to leave behind everything that worries us, to move forward boldly.

I wish you, dear Bosnians and Herzegovinans, an abundance of health, love, joy and peace in your homes, and that the New Year 2024 brings hope, positive changes, prosperity and better opportunities for everyone to our society,” it is stated in the New Year’s greeting of the Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Željko Komšić.
