Elmedin Konakovic, the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton, said that by reducing the list of essential drugs, around 500,000 to one million BAM is saved per month.
A significant step forward is expected in this area, because, the new management of the Health Insurance Institute (HII) of Canton Sarajevo is proven to be much more serious than the previous one.
“We’re not very satisfied with the new management, but we take a look at problems in March, when the report on the work of the EPA will be at the meeting of the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton, ” adds Konakovic.
In order to create conditions for better functioning, Mr. Konakovic announced the reform of the healthcare system in Canton Sarajevo.
