Konjic to host the meeting of the association ‘La Viva Balkan’

KonjicBosnia-Herzegovina-485x728Today and tomorrow, 27 and 28 April, Konjic will be the host of the regional meeting of Association ‘La Viva Balkan’.

‘La Viva Balkan’ is a unique choir that consists of ensembles ”Rezonanca” Konjic, AKCUS ”Seljo” Sarajevo, Rondo Histriae Pula (RH), ”Sava Trlajić” Mol- Serbia,” Musica Eterna”Bačka Palanka Serbia .

The aim of the regional meeting is to sum up the work that has been done so far, and to sign the new Memorandum of Understanding which will be expanded with choirs from Montenegro, Macedonia and Slovenia, which will unite, after a decade the entire cultural region.

At the meeting, they will agree on the joint program of the concert which will be held next year in Sarajevo, under sponsorship of France and Germany, and as a part of the marking of 100 years since the beginning of the WW I with the program called ‘Sarajevo- the heart of Europe’.

‘La Viva Balkan’ and ‘La Viva France’, a French choir that promotes peace, consists of more than 250 people and they perform pieces that come from different countries and they also sing the Declaration on Human Rights.

Guests will have the opportunity to see Tito’s Shelter ‘Ark’ where the 2nd Biennale of Contemporary Arts will be held, as well as numerous sights of Konjic.
