The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, held a meeting with the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa on Monday.

The meeting discussed the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the challenges of EU enlargement, integration processes, regional cooperation, as well as issues that ensure the stability and progress of our country.

Chairperson Krišto informed President Costa about all the activities undertaken since the last visit in May and the key steps taken in the past year.

The most important foreign policy goal of our country requires commitment and responsibility to make compromises with the political representatives of the three constituent nations on key issues.

The emphasis at today’s meeting was also on the reform of the BiH Election Law. Ensuring legitimate political representation is our obligation on the European path, which would relax inter-national relations and ensure the equality of the three constituent peoples in the key bodies of political representation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
