According to La Gazetta dello Sport, Pjanić is the first on the wish list of Luis Enrique, the coach of Barcelona. Enrique is trying to find a substitute for the legendary Xavi who is playing for the Qatar club Al-Sadd as of this season, and he sees precisely Pjanić as the ideal player for Barcelona’s system.
Luis Enrique brought Pjanić from Lyon to Roma in 2011 for 11 million EUR, and today he will see him on the field again, this time in the Champions League at the match between Barcelona and Roma.
Barcelona’s transfer ban imposed by FIFA expires in January. Apart from being reinforced by Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal, the Catalonians might bring the BH ace as well.
