The best BiH swimmer, seventeen years old Lana Pudar, won a gold medal in the 100-meter butterfly at the European Junior Championships held in Belgrade.
Lana had a time of 56.95 seconds and completely swept away the competition in the final race.
Second place was the Danish Martine Damborg, who had a time of 58.35.
Our swimmer also broke the record of the European junior championships. The time of that record was 57.39, and it was held by Anastasia Shkurdai from Belarus since 2019.
Last year’s rivals in the final were Emmy Hallkvist (Sweden), Paola Borrelli (Italy), Julia Ullmann (Switzerland), Martine Damborg (Denmark), Lucie Delmas (France), Tabatha Avetand (France) and Eva-Maria Paraschvoin (Romania).
With today’s victory, Lana again became the champion of Europe in the discipline of 100 meters butterfly since last year she won silver in Romania, while in 2021 she also won gold in Rome, Klix.ba reports.
