The best Bosnian swimmer Lana Pudar won the sixth place in the 100-meter butterfly race at the European Championship in small pools, which is held in Otopeni, Romania.
Lana swam 100 meters in 56.91 seconds, which was enough for her sixth place.
Gold was won by Swede Louise Hansson (55.37), silver by German Angelina Kohler (55.50), and bronze by Anna Ntountounaki (55.98).
Let’s remind, BH mermaid took ninth place in the semi-finals yesterday with a time of 57.44 seconds and did not win direct placement in the semi-finals, but was the first reserve, and after the Italian Giulia D’Innocenzo canceled her performance in the finals this morning, she got the opportunity to compete in the finals.
She accepted that opportunity wholeheartedly and made another big result in her career just 40 days before her coming of age.
Pudar can be satisfied with her performance in Otopeni, given that the day before yesterday she won bronze in her favorite discipline, the 200-meter breaststroke, with a time of 2:04.55, which is also a new European junior record.
After the competition in Otopeni, Lana has 20 medals from major competitions. She has nine European junior, three world junior, two Mediterranean, two World Cup, one world senior, and three European senior medals in her collection, Klix.ba reports.
