Director of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs, Zeljko Obradovic, emphasized the importance of the project “Registration of Real Estate” whose fundamental objective is harmonization of data on real estate in urban areas of the FBiH, at a press conference that was held after the session of the Government of FBiH.
Real Estate Registration Project was financed by credit funds of the World Bank and its total value for the FBiH amounts to 17.4 million USD.
Within the project is insured care and support of software users of “e-Grunt”, which is used in all land registry offices and departments in the FBiH, the central land registry database of FBiH was formed with daily updates of changes from land registry offices and conditions for the Internet presentation of data from registry books were created.
Thanks to this project, all cadastral data is in a single database of real estate cadastre, and 64.3 % of parcels in digital form.
Digitalization of land registry files is completed, so that the land register in the FBiH is fully digitalized, said Obradovic.
Obradovic recalled that the society will benefit from the improved system of registration of property, which is supported by up to date and easily available data on real estate and real estate transactions, which will lead to a higher degree of economic development.
Key activities on the harmonization of real estate data between land registry and cadastre are currently implemented in cities: Bihac, Mostar, Tuzla and Zenica and municipalities Tesanj, Posusje, Gracanica, Gorazde, Bugojno, Gradacac, Tomislavgrad, Cazin, Velika Kladusa, Capljina, Maglaj, Zavidovici, Kakanj, Sarajevo Center, Novo Sarajevo, Ilijas, Zivinice, Lukavac, Kalesija and Orasje.
In the above mentioned areas, the project activities cover 52 cadastral municipalities with 200,000 parcels.
By the end of May is expected signing of the contract for a new 35 cadastral municipalities with 110,000 parcels.
