Large Delegation from Indonesia confirmed their arrival to SBF

Large political and business delegation from Indonesia announced their arrival to the 9th Sarajevo Business Forum (SBF), the leading investment conference which is going to be held on April 25 and 26, in Sarajevo.

Delegation will be led by Minister of Land and Spatial Planning Dr. Sofyan A. Djalil. Among others, Alwi Shihab, special representative of the president of Indonesia and former Minister of Foreign Affairs will be in Indonesian delegation,  as well as Hassan Wirajuda, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia and expert for ASEAN countries.

It was announced that numerous economic delegation will arrive with political leaders, and they will be led by Prof. Anwar Nasution, the President of Bank Islam Muamalat Indonesia, who attended Harvard and Cambridge. This will be his second visit to SBF.

This year, participants of SBF will have the opportunity to meet Iyad Shurafao, the executive director of Salim Group for Europe. Salim Group is Indonesian conglomerate that has companies in the field of manufacturing and food processing, distribution and retail, telecommunications, infrastructure, vehicles, construction and chemical industries, real estates, tourism and financial services on five continents.

Indonesia, with the population of 252 million, is the fourth largest country in terms of population (after China, India and USA) and one of the largest markets in the world. Its economy records constant increase and growth and it is among 20 leading markets in the world at the moment. Its annual growth of GDP is 5.5 %, and analysts predict that this trend will be continued.

Indonesian businessmen are interested in the import of agricultural products, especially organic food – meat and dairy products, as well as textile and wood industries.

Organizer of SBF for the ninth consecutive year is BBI bank in cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), and all interested businessmen can register their participation at SBF 2018 on the following LINK.
