Law on Excise Duties to be additional Requirement of the IMF?

tegeltija-zoranMinister of Finance of the RS, Zoran Tegeltija, considers that the adoption of the Law on excise duties at the state level could be an additional requirement of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for the payment of tranches.

Tegeltija said that he will not be surprised if they set additional conditions in November, as a preliminary issue for the payment of tranches.

“I think that a preliminary issue will be the Law on excise duties, because we got some messages,” said Tegeltija to reporters in Prijedor.

When it comes to the RS, Tegeltija said that obligations within the legislative refer to adoption of the Law on Banking Agency, Law on Banks and the Law on Contributions.

“There are still some technical issues that are obligation of the Banking Agency, and these are things that we have defined in the previous letter of intent,” stated Tegeltija.
