Leader Of The Houthis Calls On Arab Countries: “Open Your Borders, Create A Corridor, And We Will Go To Gaza”

The leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, called on citizens to turn out in large numbers to express the Yemeni people’s support for Gaza.

In his weekly speech on the latest developments regarding the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, as well as international and regional issues, Sayyid al-Houthi stated that from the beginning of the Yemeni support operations for Gaza until today, a total of 1.679 operations have been carried out, in which numerous missiles and drones were used.

He also reiterated the movement’s commitment to strengthening military capacities, promising that future actions would be “even more effective in punishing and pressuring the Israeli enemy.”

The Houthi leader also said that the naval blockade of Israel remains in effect, emphasizing that the port of Umm al-Rashrash, in southern Israel, has once again been completely shut down as a result of these measures.

Sayyid al-Houthi renewed his appeal to the governments of the countries that are geographically located between Yemen and Palestine to “open the passages for our people,” so that Yemenis in the hundreds of thousands can mobilize and move to support Gaza.

“Opening those corridors is what we strive for and continue to advocate,” he added.

Sayyid al-Houthi called for an “unprecedented” mass mobilization throughout Yemen on Friday, urging the people to gather in large numbers in solidarity with Gaza.

“This must be a historic response,” he said, “especially in light of the shameful silence and complicity of most Islamic governments.”

He confirmed that Yemen’s position remains unchanged despite the aggression of the United States (U.S.), the United Kingdom (UK), and Israel, and that the economic war, blockade, and media campaigns have not succeeded in breaking the resolve of the Yemeni people.

Speaking about the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, the Houthi leader sharply criticized international organizations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for what he described as the “shameful” lack of any concrete action.

“While Gaza is under siege and hunger is spreading, it is a great shame that the international community and Islamic institutions remain passive,” he stated.

Sayyid al-Houthi added that Palestinians in Gaza feel abandoned, not only by the international community but above all by Arab and Muslim countries. “The responsibility lies primarily with them,” he concluded, Klix.ba writes.
