Legendary Cliff Diver Orlando Duque is leading a training Camp in Mostar

Red Bull Under My Wiiings, a training camp led by Orlando Duque, a famous Colombian cliff diver and legend of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Championship, will be held in Mostar from September 3rd to 6th, and talented cliff divers from all over the world, including Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), can apply.

Namely, Red Bull Under My Wiiings is a unique training camp during which participants will jump and learn all the necessary skills from former world champion Duque, who has become a true symbol of spectacular Red Bull Cliff Diving and a favorite face in BiH and Mostar.

After the end of the camp, the participants will have the opportunity to stay longer in Mostar and enjoy jumping from the Old Bridge, at one of the best and most spectacular stations of the Red Bull Cliff Diving competition.

Orlando Duque – record holder, role model, and legend of Red Bull Cliff Diving

For those few who may not know who Orlando Duque (48) is, here is some information about the true legend. He is a Colombian cliff diver, who won numerous championship titles during his brilliant career. He was born on September 11th, 1974 in Cali, Colombia, and began his career by jumping into pools as a 12-year-old. He even qualified for the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992, but due to a lack of funds, the Colombian Olympic Committee could not send him to the competition.

During his incredible career, he won a total of 13 world titles and is the owner of two Guinness records, including the one set in Hawaii in 2000, when he received tens from all seven judges.

Duque has been the face of the Red Bull Diving World Championship since its inception in 2009 when he became the champion of the first edition of the competition. In ten consecutive seasons, he was on the podium 67 times, achieving nine victories, 15 second and 10 third places. In addition to the aforementioned title won in 2009, he was second three times in 2010, 2012, and 2015, while in 2013 he finished third. It is also important to point out that he became the second oldest winner of the competition in the Azores in 2017 when he was 42 years and 301 days old, N1 reports.
