They presented the innovation project “Just keep it cool”. It is a system for water cooling in thermal power plants, through which the Sehanovic sisters proved enormous savings of water, money, and thus energy as well.

The competition was held in three categories: energy, environment and engineering. Four hundred projects from 60 countries were presented.

“We won the silver medal in the category of energy. In addition to that, we met a lot of friends from different countries and cultures. This was an unforgettable experience for us. Three projects were presenting BiH and, apart from our silver medal, a bronze medal was also won,” said Lejla Sehanovic.

Anida and Lejla previously won awards for this project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, thereby acquiring the right to participate in this prestigious Olympiad.
