Let´s do itThe organization ‘Let’s Do It’, which until now has organized several cleaning actions in our country, announced one more volunteer action. As part of this project, on 24 October a large volunteer action of planting trees called ‘Let’s Do It-Million Plantings for One Day’, which will take place on one day throughout the entire territory of B&H.

The idea for the project came from the knowledge that B&H does not take sufficient care of its forests, which is one of the greatest natural resources of our country.

The main goals of the action are to plant 1.000.000 trees, to ensure the participation of at least 20.000 volunteers that will participate in the action, and to raise awareness and to educate the public on environmental protection and the importance of forest ecosystems.

Volunteer actions in B&H called ‘Lets Do It-Clean the Country In One Day’ were previously organized in B&H. In the first cleaning action, on 9 September 2012, 105 municipalities in B&H participated, with more than 37.500 volunteers and 5.5000 tons of garbage was collected.
