Sastanak InspektoraA guideline book called ‘Instructions for Inspection and Registering of Computer Software with the Aim of Protection of Copyrights’ was presented at the meeting of inspectors of FBiH Administration for Inspection Affairs and cantonal administrations.

The purpose of the guideline is to make the work of inspectors more efficient when inspecting installed software and users’ licences, and since it is the first guideline book of this sort in BiH, it is also a very efficient tool for all inspectors who inspect software licences.

Manager FBiH Administration for Inspection Affairs Ibrahim Tirak said that this guideline will be of great use to inspectors, because they will be fully prepared to implement inspection project ‘ It is still not too late to licence your software’ and added that the purpose of this campaign was to raise the awareness of protecting copyrights.

FBiH and cantonal inspectors will perform stricter inspection in FBiH starting from June 2013 in the field of usage and circulation of software.

In the case of abuse, legal actions will be undertaken, such is confiscating the object or device or forcing one to pay from 1000 to 200 000 BAM of fines.
