Cinema Ljubuški ekapija.baAccording to Večernji list BiH magazine, the people of Ljubuški are to get a modern cinema hall in the very heart of the city. Based on information from the Municipality of Ljubuški, 300,000 BAM will be invested during next year in the reconstruction of the facility in which the last movie was seen before the war.

The cinema hall will be a part of the Cultural Center Ljubuški, which will also include a smaller gallery and a dressing room for theatre plays.

According to the new conceptual design, the cinema will have around 180 seats. Namely, the reconstruction of the mentioned facility will also give a whole new look to the street where it is located.

“Given that the facility is located in the center of the municipality, great attention was paid to its exterior. Hence, around 100,000 BAM will be invested in the façade which will be made of stone and glass,” said the Mayor of Ljubuški Municipality Nevenko Barbarić.

Barbaric expects the completion of project documentation already in February, thus the beginning of works is expected in May and the screening of the first movie already by the end of the year. Namely, in the next year the Ljubuški Municipality intends to invest nearly five million BAM in different projects.
