The largest airline in Poland, LOT Polish Airlines, has confirmed that as of March 27, flights on the Sarajevo-Warsaw route will be re-established, the Sarajevo International Airport announced on its website.

Flights will take place five times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and tickets are available online via the website http://www.lot.com and http://www.sia.ba.

This route was established in May 2022 as a result of the intensive cooperation of the Sarajevo International Airport with USAID’s Project for the Development of Sustainable Tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which successfully launched an innovative incentive scheme for airlines considering the introduction of new or expansion and intensification of existing flights towards the Sarajevo International Airport.
