Loyal Dog Waits in Vain Outside House of Murdered Boys in Cetinje

Numerous media outlets reported on the sad sight that the residents of Cetinje found today. Namely, the dog was sitting in front of the house of the boys killed in the massacre in this Montenegrin town, calmly observing passersby as if waiting for its little neighbors.

The scene was further poignant because of the sad gaze the dog had into the distance as it sat motionless, even in the rain, on the wall near the window of the children’s room.

It is assumed that this dog knew the boys and perhaps often played with them, so that its attitude was as if it was waiting for them to appear around the corner and continue the game with them, which, like youth, was interrupted in the bloody massacre that took place in Cetinje on January 1.

The dog gave his presence away paid tribute to the murdered boys and in his own way “sent them off to a better world”.

Vukan (8) and Jovan (13) Vuletić are the youngest victims of the bloody massacre, and both were students of the “Lovćen Partisan Detachment” Elementary School, writes mojportal.me.

Their uncle Mirko Vuletić was also killed and was buried with the two boys today. The funeral was attended by numerous citizens, as reported by the media, and sobs and heartbreaking messages echoed through the place of their eternal rest.
