Sarajevo Mayor Abdulah Skaka hosted a gala reception and a dinner for the participants and guests of the 1st International Tour Operator Meeting “Meet Up Sarajevo 2019” last night, and among them was the legendary footballer Luis Figo.

“He arrived to Sarajevo in order to support us in the promotion the city as a tourist destination. Thank you, to our sincere friend, because this is extremely important for our project of promoting the capital Sarajevo on the world scene. Stars like Figo, who is the ambassador of the richest and most famous sports competition in the world, UEFA Champions League, shares a good voice about BiH and Sarajevo,”Skaka said.

From today, Sarajevo City Hall will be the venue for presentation and cooperation of international and regional tourist operators, travel agencies and hoteliers with BiH tourist workers which will establish contacts, exchange experiences and open the way for new business arrangements, all with the aim of making the city of Sarajevo more attractive tourist destination.
