U LUKOMIR SE MJEŠTANI VRAÆAJU RANIJEThis year spring arrived earlier than previous years, so the locals from Bjelasnica village will come back to their homes located at an altitude of 1. 495 in the beginning of April.

There is no snow in Lukomir, said Mujo Masleša, whose house was one of the 22 locked from November last year, when the village went into hibernation.

Earlier this spring, the locals will come back to their village because there is no snow. Masleša says that he is planning to go there as early as next week in order to prepare the land for sowing.

“In the previous years and in the middle of May, it was difficult to arrive to Lukomir, except if the dredge passed through and cleaned it. These days, we will arrive to the village with cars and without problems”, says Masleša, who went to see his house a couple of days ago.

This was the third winter since the locals went to live somewhere else, for instance in Tarčin, Hadžići, Vlakovo, etc.

Stalls in which 15 households had around 3 000 sheep and cows will soon be full, because the villagers who own livestock will be back in Lukomir in 20 days.

The ones who do not own livestock will lock their houses later.
