The Chairman of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH) to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PSCE), Saša Magazinović, as part of the visit to Ukraine by the heads of delegations to the PSCE, met in Kiev with the Minister of Justice of Ukraine Denis Malyuska.

Minister Malyuska expressed his gratitude for the support of all member states of the Council of Europe whose representatives came to Kyiv. He emphasized the ways in which Russia avoids sanctions, and the issue of establishing a war damage registry.

He especially emphasized that even in wartime circumstances, the Ministry has the European path of the country as one of its priorities, and that intensive work is being done in that direction.

Magazinović expressed his respect for the energy that Minister Malyuska and his team invest in order to simultaneously adopt the laws necessary for wartime conditions, but also the laws necessary for progress on the European path.

Magazinović attended a special session of the Parliament of Ukraine on the occasion of marking the second anniversary of the full invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation.

At this session, with the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina displayed, the President of the Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk especially thanked for the support of all the representatives of the countries present, including Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Speaker of the Parliament of North Macedonia, Jovan Mitreski, and the Prime Minister of Belgium, Alexander De Croo, addressed the session.

Magazinović also participated in the international conference, organized by Yalta European Strategy (YES), on the occasion of marking the second anniversary of the Russian aggression against Ukraine.

The conference was an opportunity to meet former High Representative Carl Bildt and General Wesley Clark, with whom Magazinović discussed the political and security situation in the region.

During his visit to Kyiv, Magazinović, together with his colleagues from other countries, had the opportunity to visit the War Museum, the settlements affected by the Russian attacks on the Kyiv region, as well as a school where classes are organized in such a way that they are not disturbed by frequent sound warnings of possible attacks – it was announced from the Public Relations Department of the PSBiH.
