The head of the Club of the Social Democratic Party of BiH in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH (PSBiH), Saša Magazinović, expressed satisfaction with the fact that yesterday’s adoption of two more European laws in the PSBiH provided a new big step for Bosnia and Herzegovina on the way to opening negotiations with the European Union.
“We should take a moment to recognize the good things that are happening. Political everyday life does not offer many such moments. We are used to good things going unnoticed because they are quickly overtaken by bad things,” said Magazinović for Fena news agency.
In his opinion, the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina is our surest guarantee of peace and development.
“Anyone who is committed to, above all, peace and then development, will do everything to support and contribute to this path. Anyone who tries to devalue and slow down this road should fundamentally think about their relationship to the state, the people who still live in it by choice, and especially the generations to whom we leave that state. We are investing a lot of energy to speed up and make the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina expedient, and it is important that this is adequately recognized by the European Union,” said Magazinović.
Namely, both houses of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly yesterday adopted the Law on Prevention of Conflict of Interest and the Law on Amendments to the Law on Civil Service in BiH Institutions.
