Former US President Donald Trump met Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán at his residence in Florida, Trump’s press office announced.
“Trump and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met today at Mar-a-Lago to discuss a wide range of issues affecting Hungary and the US, including the enormous importance of strong and secure borders to protect the sovereignty of states,” the statement said.
US President Joseph Biden previously criticized Trump for meeting with Orbán, saying the Hungarian leader’s goal was to establish a dictatorship.
