Mahovljanska Loop closed as of today due to the Construction of Viaduct

13150108_1767432753493401_1542295764_nDue to the construction of the viaduct “Mahovljani” on the highway Banja Luka – Doboj, section Banja Luka – Prnjavor, as of today “Mahovljani” loop will be closed for all traffic, or exit and entrance from the highway Bosanska Gradiska – Banja Luka, said director of PE Highways of RS, Dusan Topic.

Topic said that the drivers are recommended to use the loop “Aleksandrovac“ for entering and exiting from the highway Gradiska – Banja Luka, especially those that are going from Gradiska to Prnjavor, while those, who are traveling to Laktasi from the direction of Banja Luka, are advises to use main road M16.

“Considering that the construction of the viaduct Mahovljani is already at an advanced stage, for safety of road users, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of RS approved temporary suspension and modification of the regime of traffic on the main road M16, on the section Nova Topola – Klasnice,” said Topic.

Topic added that the revised regime of traffic on the main road will be in force until the 1st of September.

He appealed on the drivers for enhanced caution and respect of traffic control in the zone of execution of works.
