A Major Italian Multinational Company arriving in BiH?

The prime minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalic received today in the premises of the Government of FBiH in Sarajevo, the ambassador of the Republic of Italy to BiH, Nicola Minasio.

Economic topics, primarily the possibility that some of the major Italian investors will enter this market, which can encourage other investors to also enter the market, were discussed.

The Italian diplomat announced the possible arrival in BiH the market of a large multinational company headquartered in Italy, which the federal prime minister welcomed and promised all possible technical and other assistance for the project to be realized.

He also pointed out the interest of small and medium-sized companies from this friendly country for investing in our market, but also in young people, namely Italian language students, economists, engineers and others, in order to include them in the work process, thereby contributing to the stop of the trend the departure of a qualified young workforce.

A significant part of the talks related to the adoption of a new law on excise duties, which, after a detailed presentation of the current situation by Novalic, gained the support of ambassador Minasi, expressing the hope that it would be adopted, which would bring a new momentum to the economy and the creation of new jobs, especially in infrastructure projects, such as roads and highways.

Special attention was paid to the reform processes, the issue of the path towards the European Union and how soon the European Commission Questionnaire will be answered by the authorities in BiH, all of which will be of great significance, the FBiH Government said.
