This was stated at yesterday’s extended session of the Association of Energy, Mining and Industry of the Tuzla Canton which was held at the premises of the Cantonal Chamber of Commerce in Tuzla.

Nurudin Žunić, secretary of the Association of Energy, Mining and Industry, said that the plans include investments in current production and future major investment projects.

The session was also attended by the director of Mine Kreka Osman Bleković, who said that this enterprise is on a good way to solve problems caused by floods in 2014. Furthermore, Bleković announced investments of up to 50 million BAM.

Irfan Hatunić, technical director of the thermal power plant, stated that this enterprise intends to keep the production on the average from previous years and highlighted that investments will be directed towards maintenance of operational readiness and availability of existing production capacities.

Investments in the mines Banovići, Đurđevik and Kreka, as well as in the thermal power plant Tuzla, were individually presented at the session which was also attended by Srđan Mićanović, the cantonal Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining.
