In the Central Bosnia Canton (SBK), substances that appear to be related to the narcotic drugs cannabis and speed have been found over the past 24 hours, the SBK Ministry of the Interior announced. As part of police activities, a larger quantity of substances suspected to be intended for further distribution were also found.
Police officers from the Criminal Police Sector of the SBK MUP, Department for Combating Drug Abuse, in cooperation with police officers from the Drug Abuse Suppression Team of the Jajce Police Department and the Specialist Support Unit of the SBK MUP Travnik, conducted a search of a house, garden, accompanying facilities, vehicles and persons in the Donji Vakuf municipality on August 18.
The search was conducted with the consent of the Travnik Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office, and based on a written order from the Bugojno Municipal Court.
At the address Karići bb in Donji Vakuf near S.Z., born in 1992 from Donji Vakuf, a large quantity of herbal substance which looks like cannabis and a white powdery substance which looks like speed was found and temporarily seized.
As reported, the found substances were packaged for further distribution, i.e. street sale, and a digital scale for precise measurement was also found.
On the same day at around 15:00 in Ciglane III Street in Bugojno, the police officers of the Bugojno Police Station, in cooperation with the Team for Combating Narcotic Drug Abuse of the PU Bugojno, carried out a check on Z.B., born in 1998 from Bugojno.
On that occasion, a certain amount of a white powdery substance was found with him, which in appearance is associated with the intoxicating drug speed.
In cooperation with the competent cantonal prosecutor’s office, legally prescribed measures and actions are being taken against suspects.
