Malagić: 21 Countries Sent International Support in Terms of Rescuing Team

Photo.aspxDelegation of B&H Ministry of Security led by Deputy Minister of Security Mladen Ćavar will travel today Orašje, Bosanski Šamac and Brčko, where they will visit the international teams who work on repairing of consequences of damages after the floods.

A larger number of international teams who operate on pumping and purifying the water are concentrated in this location.

According to the spokesperson of B&H Ministry of Security Admir Malagić, so far the international support in terms of rescuing teams and teams for repairing damages caused by floods have sent 21 countries with about 850 people.

“The delegation will include representatives of civil protection of EU and the goal is to honor all the international teams who gave a great contribution in rescuing and evacuation people threatened by floods, and then in the rearing of consequences of the catastrophic floods”, added Malagić.

He said that representatives of B&H Ministry of Security will meet with representatives of local civil protection and will talk on the immediate needs on the field in order to coordinate as good as possible the international help and the distribution of available resources for repairing damages.
