Minic leads ahead of Blanusa in the Race for President of the RS

According to preliminary data from the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at 9:15 p.m., based on 90.29 percent of processed polling stations, SNSD candidate Savo Minić is leading in the race for president of Republika Srpska.

Minic won 264,695 votes, or 52.13 percent, while SDS candidate Branko Blanuša got 213,012 votes, or 41.95 percent.

SDA candidate Ramiz Salkić is third with 8,615 votes or 1.69 percent, followed by independent candidate Ćamil Duraković with 5,751 votes or 1.13 percent.

Bogdan Jovanović from the Life Party won 4,062 votes or 0.80 percent. The People and Justice candidate Jusuf Arifagić received 2,525 votes, while the SDP BiH candidate Ivan Begić won 2,508 votes, or 0.49 percent each.

According to CEC data, results have been received from 1,880 polling stations, or 90.29 percent, while results from 202 polling stations have not yet been received.

There are 507,698 or 95.27 percent of valid ballots. There were 18,514 blank invalid ballots, or 3.47 percent, while 6,697 ballots, or 1.26 percent, were invalid for other reasons.

This is preliminary data from the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
