Malagić: International Teams Purified Over One Million Liters of Water

malagic admirOperational Communication Center of the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina is currently on the ground and coordinates the work of international teams from three countries, said the spokesman for the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Admir Malagić.

According to him, the teams from Austria are working on water purification in Orašje a team from Germany is in Brčko also working on water treatment, while total of six teams that came from Sweden are working in six different towns Doboj-East, Gradačac, Čelić, Olovo, Žepče and Tešanj.

Other teams that have worked on water pumping have already returned to their countries.

Malagić states that the teams who are currently working in Bosnia and Herzegovina on purification of water will stay for a while, given that the flooded areas still do not have drinking water.

“We received that Sweden will donate these six units to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to the areas where there is greatest need for them,” said Malagić.
