Malaysian “Khazanah Nasional” Will Participate in “Sarajevo Business Forum 2013”

sbf-2013Representatives of the Malaysian State Investment Holding “Khazanah Nasional” announced their participation at the 4th international investment conference “Sarajevo Business Forum 2013-Models of Development and Lessons for South East Europe”, which will be held on 17 May in Sarajevo.

“Khazanah Nasional” is one of the most important investment funds in Asia and the leading investor in the field of agriculture, financial industry, telecommunications, transport, health industry, infrastructure, construction, media, real estate, biotechnology, and utilities. The portfolio of “Khazahah” involves big Asian companies such as “Malaysian Agrifood Corporation Berhad (MAFC)-leading company for production and processing of food, CIMA-third biggest cement producer in Malaysia and “IHH Healthcare Berhad”, which in its composition includes international private clinks such as “Acibadem” from Turkey.

Within “Khazanah Holding” is also “UEM Group Berhad”, the engineering-construction conglomerate that owns assets worth 8,3 billion US dollars and is present in more than 20 countries worldwide. Under the ownership of Holding is “Opus Group Berhad”, a multi-national company specializing in the construction and maintenance of highways, airports, railroads, and “Tenaga Nasional Bhd”, the leading company from the field production of electricity generation with more than six million users.

Representatives of “Khazanah Nasional” have shown interest for the BiH economy and announced their arrival once again to the Sarajevo Business Forum, where they will continue to look for opportunities for investing in our country and to hold meetings with local business people.
