Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska (MUP RS) are continuing today the search for a person suspected of the murder of a woman and her son in Kalesija, Srna was told by the MUP.

Members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit of the MUP RS and diving teams were engaged on Friday, February 14, in a search of Lake Drenova near Prnjavor as part of the search for fugitive Emir Selimović, suspected of a double murder in Kalesija.

The last traces of the fugitive were found at this location on February 13, which is why there is a possibility that he committed suicide by jumping into the lake, Srna was told earlier by the MUP.

At the same time, police officers of the MUP Republika Srpska are taking a number of other measures and actions in the wider area of the Banja Luka region based on information and reports about the possible movement of this person, which have not been confirmed, the MUP pointed out.

The bodies of Inela Selimović (37) and her 13-year-old son were found in an apartment in Kalesija on Wednesday, February 12. Her husband, Emir Selimović (38), is suspected of the murder and is still being sought by the police.
