Lifeless Body found in Vraca Settlement in Sarajevo

The body of a man with the initials V.C. from East Sarajevo was found in the Vraca settlement, the East Sarajevo Police Department announced.

The East Novo Sarajevo Police Station was notified yesterday at 7:05 p.m. that a body had been found, and police officers, in the presence of the prosecutor on duty at the East Sarajevo District Prosecutor’s Office and the coroner of the East Sarajevo Health Center, conducted an on-site investigation.

“The identification determined that the person in question is V.C. from East Sarajevo, whose disappearance was reported to the police on the same day at around 2:45 p.m.,” the statement said.

The police added that an autopsy of the body will be performed today at the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the Republika Srpska in Banja Luka.
