The President of the Assembly of Russia, Valentina Matviyenko, sent a congratulatory message to the SNSD leader, Milorad Dodik, on the occasion of his victory in the elections.

She pointed out that this is a man who is sincerely loyal to his people.

”Please accept my congratulations on your re-election to the post of President of Republika Srpska (RS). In the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, everyone knows you well as a man who is sincerely loyal to his people, capable of protecting their interests, and a great friend of Russia,” she emphasized.

Matviyenko stated that thanks to Dodik’s personal efforts, during his tenure as the Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), constructive and confidential dialogue on a wide range of issues significantly strengthened, and different ties, including parliamentary ones, received a new impetus.

”Using this opportunity, I want to assure you that the senators of the Russian Federation are ready to continue contributing to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation for the benefit of our people. May your success in an important position ensure the well-being and prosperity of the RS. I wish you all the best and receive the expressions of my great respect,” said Matviyenko in a congratulatory message addressed to the newly elected president of RS, Milorad Dodik.
