[wzslider autoplay=”true”]Certificates were solemnly awarded to participants of Excellence Academy BiH in the premises of the City Administration in the Sarajevo City Hall.

Certificates on successful passing through the Excellence Academy were awarded to talented BiH students by the President of the Olympic Committee Marijan Kvesic and Mayor of Sarajevo Dr. Ivo Komsic.

Before the ceremony, students had the opportunity to listen to a lecture of Nihad Softic, the former owner of the company “IT Computers” and the current owner of the multi-disciplinary school, “School & Scohool”. Softic talked about his rise and fall after the bankruptcy of “IT Computers” during the economic crisis of 2009, his new rise and motivation.

Mayor Komsic was pleased to hand out the certificates to our best students, and he congratulated them for their participation in the Academy.

“I think that their gathering is useful alone. It is useful that young people from all over BiH gathered within a single educational project. I believe that, they are not only well educated but smart as well, because that is not the same. Smart ones will use the knowledge they have gained, compared to those that are only well educated,” said Komsic while commenting on the work of the Academy.

Mayor of Sarajevo noted as positive the fact that students were trained in various fields at the Academy, including communication skills.

During their stay in the Hall, students visited this monumental building and got introduced with its history, which also represents the history of the city of Sarajevo.

After the awarding of certificates, the majority of students expressed a desire to repeat similar gathering in the future.

With the ceremony of awarding certificates, Excellence Academy 2016 was officially completed. Given that this is a long-term project, it is certain that more students will get the opportunity to participate in the upcoming academies.
