Mayor of Bijeljina walked to Banja Luka for Ten Days

More than a thousand people gathered at Trg Krajina in Banja Luka to welcome the mayor of Bijeljina, Ljubiša Petrović, who walked for 10 days from Bijeljina to Banja Luka as a sign of protest. The reason for this is the failed impeachment attempt initiated by the SNSD.

A few hundred meters to Krajina Square there was a stampede with the police because they did not let Petrović pass and address the citizens. However, the police cordon was breached and Petrović gave a speech. A large number of opposition leaders, including those who were at war, came to support him.

After the rally, the convoy went for a walk through the streets of the city.

Petrović is dissatisfied with the fact that the Assembly of the city of Bijeljina was not dissolved, in accordance with the Law on Local Self-Government, when the recall referendum is not passed.
