[wzslider autoplay=”true”]”Every meeting with the Pope is a great inspiration and a great event in the life,” said Mayor of Mostar Ljubo Beslic after an audience with the Holy Father in Vatican.

“His messages are new encouragement for all people that are living in B&H. The message of peace, coexistence and cooperation is a great blessing for B&H,” added the Mayor of Mostar.

Beslic stayed in the Vatican as a member of a special delegation which was led by the Chairman of the Presidency of B&H Dragan Covic and Archbishop of Vrhbosna Vinko Puljic.

Representatives of the state and the church board for welcoming of Pope Francis in Sarajevo in June this year were also the part of delegation. The audience was held as well as the private conversation between the Chairman of the Presidency Dragan Covic and the Holy Father.

The rest of the delegation, with the accompaniment of the Vatican, visited St. Peter’s Square for the General Audience, and, after the General Audience, they visited Pontifical Croatian College of St. Jerome, as announced from the Office of Public Relations of the City of Mostar.
