Sarajevo became the center of the region with the spectacular New Year’s Eve celebrations during the last two years. The capital city of BiH became a favourite destination for the New Year holidays among the people of Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, thanks to great concerts of Dino Merlin and Zdravko Colic.

It seems that, Sarajevans and numerous tourists, will spend the craziest night of 2019 with large music stars. Mayor Abdulah Skaka and the City of Sarajevo now have a difficult task to prepare a great spectacle again, just like the one that Dino Merlin and Zdravko Colic prepared.

Lately, we could hear speculations that Hari Mata Hari, “Plavi Orkastar” or Goran Bregovic could be main guests of the central celebration. However, these are still just stories and speculations.

“The city of Sarajevo proved to be the center of the region. We managed to achieve this last year and the year before, and we can promise an unforgettable New Year’s Eve this year again. Sarajevo will be the top tourist destination again, and the name of a music star that will attract a large number of tourists to our capital will be announced in September,” said Mayor of Sarajevo, Abdulah Skaka.
