New rules to go into effect for calling Fixed Numbers in BiH

The Communications Regulatory Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has informed the users of its fixed telephone network that from 1 October, new rules will go into effect for calling fixed numbers. The change applies only to calls within the same network group, so instead of dialing the phone number of the desired user, it will be necessary to use the national prefix (0), plus the area code of the network group to which the dialed user is assigned, plus the phone number of the dialed user.

All calls within the fixed telephone network in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be performed as “intercity calls”. The changes are necessary to increase the capacity of geographic numbers in the telephone network of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
