Mayor of Sarajevo Received Delegation of First Chamber of VSTV Turkey

8660A delegation of the first Chamber of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (VSTV) Turkey, led by President Ibrahim Okur, visited the Mayor of Sarajevo yesterday Ivo Komšić together with representatives of the BiH High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council.

The visit was organized so that the delegation could become familiar with the activities of the mayor and the City Administration of Sarajevo.

Addressing the distinguished guests from Turkey, Mayor Komšić emphasized the friendly relations between Sarajevo and Istanbul, Ankara, Bursa and Konya, adding that this cooperation would intensify in the future.

Expressing gratitude for the hospitality, the President of the First Chamber of the VSTV of Turkey Ibrahim Okur said: “BIH is our friend and I truly believe that our two countries would intensify economic links with one another”.

He added that he hopes in the future they would work on cooperation between judicial institutions of BiH and Turkey.
