Meanwhile in IndiaColors of the Indian subcontinent, as seen through the lens of the photography artist from Sarajevo, Amer Kapetanovic, will be shown at his 21st individual photography exhibition.

“Meanwhile in India“ will be set in the Gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, and the official opening is on Thursday, 19th March 2015 at 7:30 p.m.

Under the simple title “Meanwhile in India“, Kapetanovic gathers portraits, landscapes, street scenes and images of the everyday life of one of the oldest cultures of the world. The exhibition was first set up in Novi Sad, in June 2044, as a part of Nights of Museums.

Opening of the exhibition itself brings a special curiosity for photography lovers: with the support of the company Macline d.o.o and SONY, digital cinema projection of photography in 4K technology will be organized for the first time in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is about the new technology that enables the displaying of the photography on large areas with the impressive level of details, color and depth. The projection will last only during the opening night and will start 10 minutes after the opening.

In order to complete the visual experience, Franz&Sophie Tea Shop will serve the orginal Indian Masala Chai tea. Especially for this occasion, Damir Imamovic selected the Indian music.

Exhibition will last until Thursday, 26th March 2015.
