medicinesWith the application of the Ordinance on the way of price control, the way of creating prices and the way of reporting on prices of medicines in BiH, some medicines will be cheaper by more than 50 %, and that kind of a price list can be expected in June.

According to the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of BiH, the maximum wholesale prices will be revealed during the next week, and in the meantime is expected from those who have a license to trade with medicinal products to submit their price proposals, and the deadline to do this is May 12.

“After that, we need a few days for compliance and eventual correction of prices that we calculated,” as announced by the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of BiH.

According to the calculations made by the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of BiH, some drugs will be twice cheaper.

“After the release of the maximum wholesale prices by our agency, everyone is obliged to comply. Of course, the decrease in prices of medicines in pharmacies will not be realized immediately the next day, but we expect it in a month,” said Biljana Tubic, Assistant Director of the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of BiH.
