Meeting of Representatives of the ‘Movement for the State’ was held in Banja Luka

At a meeting of representatives of the Movement for the State, which was held yesterday in Banja Luka, and which was attended by representatives of most of the Movement’s member parties, the Movement’s activities so far within the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska were discussed, along with previous appointments to certain positions and about their future actions.

The RSNA Vice President Mirsad Duratović told FENA after the meeting that special emphasis was placed on the proposal to appoint Sevlid Hurtić to the position of Minister for Human Rights and Refugees in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, “where the Movement is now left without a ministerial position in the Government of the RS, which is was one of the conditions for entering the parliamentary majority and supporting the Government of the RS”.

“It was agreed that in the coming days, a meeting will be held with Prime Minister Radovan Višković, to see now the further status of the Movement within the RS Government,” said Duratović.

Asked if today’s meeting discussed the statement of the Party for BiH, in which it was stated that the Movement for the State does not have the support of that party, Duratović said that some announcements were also discussed.

Unfortunately, relations from the Federation of BiH are slowly spilling over to relations within the Movement. I have not heard anywhere, and perhaps it has been said, what are the reasons why the Party for BiH believes that the Movement for the State has betrayed its goals and the basic reason for which it was formed,” stated Duratović.

He says that he would like to hear from the representatives of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina what was the main motive why they would believe that the Movement has betrayed the goals for which it was formed.
