It is necessary to intensify talks between domestic actors on the implementation of the European Court for Human Rights in the case of “Sejdić-Finci” in order to solve the issue as soon as possible, so that BiH could prepare all conditions and rules for the upcoming elections, assessed the President of the RS National Assembly Igor Radojičić and the General Director of the Directorate of the European Commission for EU Enlargement Stefano Stannino.
They said that at the same time it would enable further progress of BiH on the road to the EU, through the ratification of the Stabilization and Association Agreement and the filing of an application for status as a credible member.
Radojičić stressed the importance of the BiH census in 2013, and representatives of the EU informed him of the efforts and support that the EU Delegation provides for the census preparation.
The President of the entity parliament expressed interest for preparations of the Resolution on BiH, which is found in the procedure of the European Parliament, announcing that next week in Brussels they will speak with European Parliamentarians and representatives from the EU Commission.
