Meeting on construction of solar panels and solar field in Tuzla Canton

The construction and setting of solar panels for the production of electricity on several buildings, as well as the construction of solar field in Tuzla Canton was the topic of today’s meeting of Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton Sead Čaušević with representatives of German construction company ‘Botabau’.

Representative of renowned solar panel production group ‘SolarWorld’ ,worth 2 billion EUR, also attended the meeting.

The goal of the meeting is the beginning of cooperation of Tuzla Canton with this group that has a large experience in the field of solar energy as a renewable source of electricity.

According to today’s talks, SolarWind would invest their expertise and panels, and Canton would offer legal support and needed infrastructure, for which BIH companies would be assigned, especially those from Tuzla Canton.

Concerning the realization of the project, a memorandum of understanding was signed, which will define deadlines and tasks more precisely.
