Member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šemsudin Mehmedović called on High Representative Christian Schmidt and key embassies in BiH to consider making a decision that will prevent any political party from being an unavoidable factor.
“This means that changes to the FBiH or BiH Constitution transfer political power to some ethnic group in BiH, which leads to destabilization, either in the formation of the government or in the functioning of BiH. This makes BiH hostage to Croatia and the HDZ today,” he pointed out.
With this, he claims, America and the EU spent almost 30 years to make Bosnia and Herzegovina a “surrogate” in which some are “more equal”.
“How many times have we heard that the HDZ is an indispensable factor in the formation of the government and the functioning of Bosnia and Herzegovina? Or SNSD or SDA?! Countless, especially after the imposition of constitutional changes on October 2, after those impositions undermined confidence in the electoral process and democracy in BiH and almost certainly laid the foundation stone for the abolition of the institution of the High Representative and the OHR,” he said.
Until now, Mehmedović added, this was, as a rule, part of the service to large state projects.
“In that concept, in which one or more parties in one or another format is an “unavoidable factor”, the legal destruction of BiH was carried out and the concept of a communist party and a one-party ethnic system was introduced, and we know who it suits best today and in whose long-term benefit it works,” he pointed out in a statement.
