Visiting Polish President Andrzej Duda expressed continuation of his country’s support to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in its European Union (EU) path and strengthening of the economy.

During the meeting with the Chairman of BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik and member of BiH Presidency, Sefik Dzaferovic, all interlocutors agreed that relations between the two countries are friendly and without opened issues.

“Poland strongly supports the European path of BiH and will continue to provide support at the next stages of EU membership,” Duda said.

Poland, with its initiatives in Visegrad group, a cultural and political alliance of the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia, offered strong support to BiH in its EU path, was stated in the press statement.

When it comes to economic cooperation, interlocutors concluded that additional efforts are needed to increase foreign trade and cooperation on infrastructure projects of common interest.
