A member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, spoke with the head of the Delegation of the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Johann Sattler, about current events in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Bećirović pointed out that after the sanctions imposed by the United States of America and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on Milorad Dodik, it is necessary for the EU to join the sanctions.

He emphasized that the EU must not underestimate the destructive policy of the president of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s entity of RS Milorad Dodik.

Bećirović said that after the adoption of the anti-constitutional and anti-Dayton conclusion in the National Assembly of the RS, it is necessary to act decisively and preventively in order to prevent the collapse of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

He reminded that yesterday’s adoption of the conclusion of the National Assembly of the RS, in which the judges of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina from among the Serb people are called upon to resign from the position of judges of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, represents a dangerous attempt to copy the unconstitutional methods that had been applied in 1992.

Bećirović said that there must be no concessions to the anti-Dayton policy of Milorad Dodik.

Because of Dodik’s dangerous anti-Dayton policies in our country, Bećirović pointed out that it is urgently necessary to increase the number of EUFOR soldiers in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the conversation, the interlocutors agreed that EUFOR has an important role as a guarantor of stability and security in Bosnia and Herzegovina, stated the BiH Presidency.
