The Mostar Mufti, Dr. Salem-ef. Dedovic, together with his associates, visited the Zahumlje-Herzegovina Metropolitan, Dimitrije, ahead of the New Year, with the occasion of the meeting being the congratulations on the upcoming Orthodox holiday.

During the visit, as published on the website of the Mostar Muftiate, a tour of the museum within the Episcopal Palace was also organized, where the Mufti and his associates became acquainted with a collection of icons from various historical periods, which testify to a rich spiritual and cultural heritage.

On that occasion, the Mufti handed Metropolitan Dimitrije a letter for Patriarch Porfirije in which he expressed gratitude for the assistance provided to the affected population of northern Herzegovina, the City of Konjic, and the Municipality of Jablanica. The said assistance was recently implemented through local self-government units.

The meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere, with an emphasis on the importance of mutual respect, dialogue, and solidarity among religious communities.
