Members of BiH Presidency met with Albanian President Ilir Meta

BiH Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik and Presidency member Sefik Dzaferovic met with the host of this year’s meeting of Brdo-Brijuni, President of the Republic of Albania Ilir Meta.

The speakers agreed that the overall relations between the country are good, without open questions and that there is a mutual desire for their improvement.

The opening of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Albania, as well as the embassies of the Republic of Albania in Bosnia and Herzegovina will provide additional impetus to the development of relations, especially the economy and tourism.

In this context, there is a readiness to organize business forums between the two countries. Establishing direct aviolines will certainly contribute to the development of relationships.

The speakers agreed that it is necessary to intensify cooperation and through regional projects, such as the construction of the Adriatic-Ionian highway.

At the end of the meeting, all interlocutors confirmed the mutual support on the European path and expressed commitment to the continuation of regional cooperation, which is at the top of the foreign policy priorities of both countries.
